One of the first pieces that I wrote here on Substack was about how Jewish enrollment at Harvard has plummeted by 60% of the past decade. Now, Jacob Savage, over at Tablet shows how implementing “diversity” and “inclusion” regimes for groups favored by the political left has consequentily meant that Jews are disappearing from many aspects of American public life, from Ivy league admissions to Hollywood writing rooms.
Like the good professor says, read the whole thing.
Suddenly, everywhere you look, the Jews are disappearing.
You feel it like a slow moving pressure system, an anxiety of exclusion and downward mobility. Maybe you first noticed it at your workplace. Or maybe it hit when you or your children applied to college or graduate school. It could have been something as simple as opening up the Netflix splash page. It’s gauche to count but you can’t help yourself: In academia, Hollywood, Washington, even in New York City—anywhere American Jews once made their mark—our influence is in steep decline.
This is somewhat of a WTH ? moment for me as I don't care if anyone is Jewish or not, I am aware that far too many wrap them selves in hateful ideology and that's always a dead end as it should be .
